Épisode 101:
Première rencontre entre Sara et Michael...
Sara: Tattoo looks fresh...hold that.
Sara: I guess being a diabetic you don't mind needles.
Michael: I'm Michael by the way.
Sara: Scofield, I read your report.
Michael: And you are?
Sara: Doctor Tancredi, will do.
Michael: Tancredi, like the governor.Your not related, are you? Umm...wouldn't think you'd find the daughter of Frontier Justice Frank working at a prison, as a doctor no less.
Sara: I believe being part of the solution, not the problem.
Michael: "Be The Change You Want To See In The World"
Sara: umm...
Michael: What?
Sara: Nothing, that was just my senior quote.
Michael: That was you, this whole time I was thinking it was Gandhi.
Sara: (riant à la blague de Michael)...your very funny.
Michael: I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other then.
Sara: I guess so.
Sara: You went to Loyola.
Michael: You've been checking up on me.
Sara: I like to get to know my patients. I went to Northwestern. Graduated two years after you did.
Michael: Maybe we met before. You know, drunk, out at a bar somewhere.
Sara: I would've remembered.
Michael: Is that a complement?
Sara: No.
Episode 102:
Sara: Ok, let's take a look at you.
Sara: You're okay, you're okay.
Sara: What Happened?
Michael: Nothing.
Sara: This isn't nothing, Michael. I need you to tell me what happened.
Michael: Don't make me lie to you. Please.
Sara: Yeah. You scared? Men. Okay, here's what I think. I think you are scared. And you wouldn't be human if you weren't scared in a place like this.
Michael: When I was young, I couldn't sleep at night because I thought there was a monster in the closet. But my brother told me there wasn't anything in the closet but fear, that fear wasn't real. He said that it wasn't made of anything. It was just...air. Not even that. He said you just have to face it. You just have to open that door, and the monster would disappear.
Sara: Your brother sounds like a smart man.
Michael: He is.
Épisode 104:
Sara: You know you're going to get killed in here, right, if your not careful?
Michael: I'll make you a bet. When I get out of here alive, I'll take you to dinner. Lunch. Cup of coffee.
Sara: Michael, this charm act could be exactly what's getting you into trouble out in the yard.
Sara: Lean forward.
Episode 106:
Sara: Probably. You got a minute?
Michael: About five years' worth.
Sara: Sorry. Right.
Sara: You never told me Lincoln Borrow is your brother.
Michael: Never came up.
Sara: Right. I'm curious if that isn't because of my father, the Governor. He might not be the one pulling the switch but you and I both know he has the power to grant clemency, and he won't. And he never does.
Michael: My old man was an abusive drunk who abandoned his family. I don't judge anyone by their father's actions or inactions, if that was your concern.
Sara: Just so you know, I don't agree with his politics. And I'm sorry about your brother.
Michael: I appreciate that.
Sara: Hey, this isn't much. I have to give Lincoln a weekly check-up now. If you want, I could schedule those visits to end right before you coming in for your shots. That way, you could at least see each other even if it's just in passing.
Michael: Thank you.
Sara: Yeah.
Episode 107:
Michael: There's this great place down there. Twenty bucks a night, hammock on the back deck. Beers are 50 cents. 25 cents at happy hour. Ever been to Thailand? Thailand's great.
Sara: Michael, if your trying to calm me down, you're doing a terrible job.
Michael: But I am trying.
Sara: Why are you here?
Michael: What do you mean?
Sara: Crawling around in the ceiling, risking your life.
Michael: You need help and I came to find you.
Michael: That's it.
Sara: Wait, I can't leave you here.
Michael: You don't have a choice. I'm one of the bad guys, remember? [une seconde]
Sara: What are you gonna do.
Michael: Go back to my cell. Stay out of the way.
Sara: Michael.
Michael: What?
Sara: They see us.
Michael: You have to go.
Sara: I can't. They'll kill you.
Michael: You go out the door. I'll drop to the floor.
Sara: They're sharpshooters, Michael. They won't miss.
Michael: That's why you can't stay here.
Michael: Go!

Sara: Here you go.
Michael: Why are you so cynical?
Sara: Michael, I think there's cynicism and then there's realism.
Michael: And there's optimism. Hope. Faith.
Sara: The is coming from an eight-toed guy locked away in a penitentiary.
Michael: Toes are overrated.
Sara: Thank you for trying to make me smile. Not today.
Michael: You never know.
Sara: We're all set.

Michael: Thought your were a nice girl.
Sara: Oh, Michael, we all know nice girls finish last.
Michael: So where do you finish?
Sara: It depends where I start. Deep breath.
Sara: Exhale. Inhale.
[Durant ce moment, Michael et Sara se regardent très intensémment jusqu'à ce qu'une infirmière les interrompent...]
Après avoir découvert que Michael est marié:
Sara: As one of the very few woman around here, I'm use to a certain amount of innuendo and flirtation being thrown my way...I'm not use to enjoying it.
Michael: Look...Sara.
Sara: It's Dr. Tancredi and please let me finish. I'm not a jealous woman, but I'm a careful one and for some reason when I'm around you I'm not...careful.
Michael: You don't have to be.
Sara: Yes, I do...there are so many questions surrounding you Michael there are way too many.
So here's the deal...from now on your shots any medical concerns there all fine as long as there doctor patient, but personal questions and favors of any kind are no longer a part of our relationship.

Sara: Until then, I can't.
Sara: We can't.
Sara: Damn it. I can't.
Sara: And I gotta go.
